Cryptotwit.com is wholly owned by John Hattan DBA The Code Zone. It is supported by sponsors and advertisements on the site.
And it should be obvious, but cryptotwit isn't officially affiliated with Twitter or any of its corporate overlords or related companies. It's just me.
Cryptotwit.com stores no personal data apart from the text of the cryptotwit itself. All tokens or keys used to post information to social networks are used in a transient fashion and are not stored or logged on the server.
Other than the cryptotwit text (that you ask it to post), cryptotwit.com will not post anything to any social network under your name. Cryptotwit.com's sole moneymaker is advertisements on the site itself.
It won't spam you. It's not an internet "worm". It's just a cute little game. Okay?
cryptotwits are intended to be used solely for entertainment. It is not intended to pass around secrets. The whole point of a substitution-cipher (the kind used in a cryptotwit) is that it is easy enough to break that a person can do it in a few minutes. Do not use cryptotwit.com to pass around any kind of sensitive information.
A computer could break these messages in the blink of an eye, so do not post any messages here that you wouldn't want your grandma to read.
